Granular activated carbon (GAC)
Granular activated carbon (GAC) used in solvent recovery device is refined by physical activation method using high-quality natural coal as raw material. It is black granular, non-toxic and tasteless, its particle size is 500~5000μm, and the pore structure of GAC is generally a three-dispersed pore distribution.
Both according to the International Society of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) classification of pore size >50nm of large pores, there are 2.0~50nm of medium pores (transition holes) and <2.0nm of micropores, developed pores, reasonable distribution of three types of pores, with strong adsorption capacity, high mechanical strength, easy repeated regeneration, low cost.
Performance characteristics
Granular activated carbon (GAC) has a developed void, large specific surface area, has a high adsorption capacity, can adsorb benzene, alcohol, ketone, aldehyde, ester, gasoline and other organic solvents waste gas recovery, more suitable for large air volume and low concentration of waste gas treatment.
Activated carbon adsorption equipment is mainly the use of porous solid adsorbent activated carbon has adsorption effect, can effectively remove organic pollutants and color in industrial waste gas. It is widely used in the end treatment of industrial organic waste gas purification, and the purification effect is good.
After the gas enters the absorption tower through the pipeline, there is a diffusion process between the two different phase interfaces, and the diffusion ends, and the gas is sucked out and discharged by the fan.
The gas is powered by the fan, positive pressure or negative pressure into the tower body, because there is an unbalanced and unsaturated molecular gravity or chemical strength on the solid surface of the activated carbon, so when the solid surface is in contact with the gas, it can attract gas molecules, so that it is concentrated and maintained on the solid surface, pollutants are adsorbed, and the gas is purified.
